Bolivar, Mo. - The Bearcats are set to begin their fourth of five straight home game to start off the season when they host Missouri S&T on Tuesday evening.
The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Jeff Guiot in his tenth season on the Bearcat bench, where he has won three MIAA regular season titles, and compiled a 167-103 (.619) record. Coach Guiot is the winningest coach in SBU history, has led the 'Cats to an MIAA Tournament appearance each season, and has three NCAA Tournament appearances.
Jim Glash enters his fifth season as head coach of the Miners. He owns a 188-98 (.487) record as a head college basketball coach, and a 28-77 (.267) record while at Missouri S&T.
The Bearcats lead the all-time series against the Miners 28-19, with SBU falling last year at Missouri S&T 75-61.
Scouting the Bearcats
The Bearcats are coming off of a tough 97-70 loss to #8 Drury last week, and are now 1-2 on the young season.

Preston Guiot leads the Bearcats in assists, at 7.0 per game, to go along with 10.7 points per game. Rashaad Brown Peterson also averages double figure scoring at 13.7 points per game.

Missouri S&T comes into the game against the Bearcats with a 2-1 record on the season. S&T averages 94.7 points per game, and is coming off of a 109-98 win over Robert Morris-Springfield.
