                Box Score Bolivar, Mo. - In thrilling fashion, the SBU Volleyball team picked up their second MIAA victory on the season by defeating Northwest Missouri 3-2 on Friday evening. SBU found themselves down two sets to none, but won the next three sets to finish off their come-from-behind victory.
After dropping the first two sets 15-25 and 18-25, SBU took control of the contest. The Bearcats won sets three and four with ease (25-16, 25-15) before taking a thrilling set five 15-11.
The Bearcats had a lot of strong individuals performances on the evening. 
Nikki Madoch (12 kills, .310 attack percentage) and 
Jordan Nedbalek (10 kills, .455 attack percentage) both gave SBU excellent offensive games. 
Taryn Marton posted her first career double-double with 10 kills and a career high 25 digs, while 
Hannah Blount also added 25 digs in the win. 
Kelsey Fankhauser took over the setting duties in the third set, leading SBU with 33 assists to go along with 5 kills.
SBU will quickly return to action on Saturday, October 5 when they host Missouri Western. The match is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. from the Meyer Sports Center in Bolivar.
