Box Score Bolivar, Mo - The Southwest Baptist University Bearcats men's soccer team continued MIAA competition Thursday, October 3rd by hosting Southern Nazarene University. Southern Nazarene downed the Bearcats 3-2 in the competition.
 
SBU got on the board early at the 8:16 mark in the first half with a Matthew Shaffer goal assisted by Kaleb Romero. Southern Nazarene would go on to score three unanswered goals, two in the first half and then one early in the second. The Bearcats would strike one more time in the 89^th minute to bring them within one on a header goal by Jason Hasenohr assisted by Colton Harden.
 
The Bearcats, who now fall to 0-11 on the season and 0-3 in the MIAA, continue their 2013 campaign at home when they host #14 Fort Hays State on Saturday, October 5^th, at 1:00 p.m.
