Box Score Topeka, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell at #12 Washburn on Friday night. The Bearcats dropped the first set 25-16, the second 25-12, and the final set 25-21.

Nikki Madoch led SBU in kills on the evening with 9, while Kelsey Fankhauser collected 18 assists. Hannah Blount once again led the Bearcats in digs with 20, while McKinley Chesley and Taryn Marton both added 9 digs in the loss.

SBU will return to action on Saturday, October 19 when they travel to Emporia State. The game is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. from Emporia, Kansas.
