St. Joseph, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team had a tough match against Missouri Western, dropping the contest 3-0.
Missouri Western took all three sets in Saturday's match-up, 25-19, 25-23, 25-16, en route to the 3-0 victory.
Carrie Johnson and
Nikki Madoch led the attack for SBU with 6 kills a piece, while
Jordan Nedbalek added 5 kills with 5 blocks.
Whitney Miller collected most of the setting duties, contributing 17 assists, while
Hannah Blount gave SBU 17 digs in the loss.
The Bearcats will return to action on Tuesday, October 2nd when they travel to Missouri Southern. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Joplin, Missouri.
