Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's soccer team dropped a tough contest against William Jewell on Tuesday afternoon, 2-0.
William Jewell scored one goal in the first, and one goal in the second to go on to the 2-0 victory. The Bearcats were led in shots by
Karla Jamison with 4 shots, followed closely by
Amanda White and
Ashley Creason with 3 a piece. Overall, the Cardinals outshot the Bearcats 28-11 in the loss. In goal
Megan Link recorded 5 saves in the first half, while
Paige Hemphill recorded 8 saves in the second period.
The Bearcats will be back in action on Friday, September 28 when they take on Central Missouri. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Warrensburg, Missouri.
