Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU defense was once again spectacular for the Bearcats women's soccer team, as SBU drew a 0-0 tie against Emporia State on Thursday afternoon.
Megan Link played the entire 110 minutes in goal, gathering 7 saves in the no decision.
As a team, the Bearcats had 18 shots, but only four on goal.
Karla Jamison and
Ashley Creason led the way with 5 shots each, while
Amanda White had 3. Emporia State had 13 shots on goal.
The Bearcats will be back in action on Saturday, September 22 when they take on Washburn. The home match is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. directly before the men's match from the SBU Soccer Field.
