Hays, Kan. - The SBU Women's Soccer team dropped a tough game against Fort Hays on Sunday afternoon 3-0.
Hays was quick to get on the scoreboard, scoring their first goal at the 7:42 mark before taking a halftime lead of 2-0. Hays would add another goal in the second half and would go on to win the game 3-0. The Bearcats had six shots, with only one coming on goal, compared to 14 shots by Hays with 11 on goal.
Paige Hemphill closed out the game in goal for the Bearcats playing nearly 21 minutes with one save and no goals allowed.
The Bearcats will be back in action on Thursday, September 20th when they host Emporia State. The game is set to begin at 2:00 p.m., followed directly by the men's game, from the SBU Soccer Field in Bolivar.
