Arkadelphia, Ark. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team was defeated by Ouachita Baptist 6-1 on Tuesday evening.
The Tigers of Ouachita Baptist jumped out to an early lead and took a 4-0 lead going into halftime. After extending the lead to 5-0, the Bearcats got on the scoreboard at the 76th minute when
Colton Harden knocked in a goal to put SBU on the scoreboard. Ouachita Baptist would add one more goal later in the contest to take the game 6-1.
The Bearcats will return to action on Friday, September 14th when they are set to open up MIAA play by hosting Lindenwood. The game is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. from the SBU Soccer Field in Bolivar.
