Bolivar, Mo. - The Bearcats hit the road for a four game series against the Bulldgos of Truman State as SBU looks to move up the MIAA rankings. Play beings at 1:00 p.m. on Friday and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

SBU Rankings in the MIAA
As a team, SBU ranks 5th in batting average (.318), 5th in on base percentage (.393), 5th in slugging percentage (.430), and 5th in hits (269). The Bearcats lead the MIAA in triples (16) and are 2nd in the MIAA in number of times being hit by a pitch (41) and stolen bases (43).

Tyler Christophel and Drew Miller are ranked in the top 10 in several offense categories for the Bearcats. Christophel leads the MIAA in runs scored (41) and stolen bases (26), and ranks 5th in batting average (.413), 2nd in hits (43), 2nd in triples (3), and 6th in total bases (62).

Miller currently ranks 9th in batting average (.400), 2nd in runs batted in (33), and ninth in on base percentage (.476), and 10th in doubles (8).

Cody Crutcher leads the MIAA in triples (4) while Landon Young and Tyler Christophel are tied for 2nd in the same category (3).

From the mound Mike Nielebeck ranks 4th in the MIAA in strikeouts (37), and leads the MIAA in games started (8). Cody Holzer ranks 12th in the MIAA in earned run avearage (3.00) and is 2nd in lowest opposing batting average (.210), 2nd in hits allowed (25), and 5th in runs allowed (13).

In the field, Christophel and Jeremiah Bryan are tied for the 1st in the MIAA in fielding percentage (1.000), Ross Wolfe ranks 3rd in assists (85), and Drew Miller leads the MIAA in runners caught stealing (16).

SBU Rankings in the Nation
The Bearcats currently rank 36th in the nation in team batting average (.318) and 3rd in the nation in triples (16).

Tyler Christophel currently ranks 5th in the nation in stolen bases (26), 16th in runs scored (41), 38th in triples (3) and 48th in batting average (.413). Cody Crutcher ranks 14th in the nation in triples (4), while Landon Young ranks 38th (3).

Landon Young is the 29th hardest player to strike out in the NCAA, striking out once every 20 at bats.
