Bolivar, Mo.
- The NCAA announced this evening that Southwest Baptist University will host the South Central #2 Regional on Monday, April 30. The Bearcats earned the #2 seeding in the South Central Region and are set to play Cameron University, the #3 seed, with the winner advancing to the NCAA Round of 16. The match is set to begin at 11:00 a.m.

The Bearcats finished the regular season and MIAA tournament with a combined 22-2 (7-0 MIAA) record, registering career highs in wins, while also claiming the MIAA regular season and tournament championships. Cameron University finished the regular season 22-4, dropping the Long Star Conference Tournament championship to Abilene Christian. Earlier this season SBU took down then ranked #14 Cameron, 5-4.

The other South Central Regional host is #1 seeded Abilene Christian. Abilene Christian will play the winner of the #4 seed St. Edwards vs. #5 seed Central Oklahoma match-up, with the winner earning a spot in the NCAA Round of 16. All five teams out of the South Central Region are nationally ranked with Abilene Christian ranked #6, Southwest Baptist #14, Cameron #20, St. Edwards #36, and Central Oklahoma #26.

The winner of the Southwest Baptist vs. Cameron match will earn a spot in the NCAA Round of 16, held in Lousiville, Kentucky, which will occur on May 16-19.
