Kansas City, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team placed 2nd in the MIAA Tournament when they lost the finals match against Northwest Missouri on Sunday, 4-5. The men's team finished 13-7 (3-1 MIAA) this season.
The Bearcats played well against Northwest Missouri, but were unable to pull off the upset. Northwest Missouri took a 2-1 lead after doubles play, with the Bearcats doubles victory coming from the team of

Jorge Margiotta. Southwest Baptist and Northwest Missouri then split the singles matches as Northwest Missouri went on to the 5-4 victory. The Bearcats received singles victories from

Daniel Cardona.
