Kirksville, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team continued their record season, winning their 18th match of the year in a dominating 9-0 victory over Truman State on Monday. The Bearcats now stand at 18-2 (6-0 MIAA) on the season.
SBU saw singles victories from
Fanni Varga,
Mehak Singh,
Adrienn Kovacs,
Andjela Panovski,
Faiga Schmidt, and
Crystal Guiot, and had doubles victories from the teams of Varga/Singh, Kovacs/Schmidt, and Panovski/Guiot.
The Bearcats will finish up MIAA play on Friday, April 20 when they complete a previously started match against Northwest Missouri. The Bearcats will move straight into the MIAA Conference Tournament following that match held in Kansas City, Missouri.
