Lawton, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team went 2-1 over the weekend in Oklahoma, picking up victories over East Central State and Colorado State-Pueblo.

The Bearcats started off the weekend against East Central State, winning 6-3 behind victories from Domingos Carissimo, Jorge Margiotta, Kristof Kinal, Daniel Cardona and doubles victories from Carissimo/Margiotta and Kinal/Cardona. The Bearcats second victory of the weekend came from a sweep against Colorado State-Pueblo, 9-0.

The Bearcats will be back in action on Friday, March 16 when they travel to Topeka, Kansas to open up MIAA play. The Bearcats match-up against Washburn University is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
