Kearney, Neb. - The SBU women's tennis team continued their impressive season by picking up their 10th straight victory on Tuesday afternoon, taking down future MIAA opponent Nebraska-Kearney 7-2. With the victory the Bearcats move to 13-1 (4-0 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats had dominating performances in both the singles and doubles matches, with
Fanni Varga,
Mehak Singh,
Adrienn Kovacs,
Andjela Panovski, and
Faiga Schmidt all picking up singles victories. In doubles action, the doubles teams of Varga/Singh and Kovacs/Schmidt both picked up wins.
SBU will take a break from short break from action, and will return home to face off against MIAA opponent Missouri Western on Friday, March 30. Play is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. from Bolivar, Missouri.
