Emporia, Kan. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team picked up their second consecutive MIAA victory on Saturday afternoon, taking down the Hornets of Emporia State 8-1.
The Bearcats swept the singles matches, with
Domingos Carissimo,
Jorge Margiotta,
Kristof Kinal,
Jorge Palacios,
Daniel Cardona, and
Tyler Welch all claiming victories, and took two of the three doubles matches.
The Bearcats will return to action tomorrow, March 18 when they travel to Omaha-Nebraska for a match-up with the Division I Mavericks. Play is set to begin at 10:00 am.
