Arkadelphia, Ark. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team had a dominating day in Arkadelphia on Friday, sweeping Arkansas Tech 9-0 before defeating #22 Tarleton State 8-1. Last season, Tarleton State knocked the Bearcats out of the regional tournament.

After taking two of the three doubles matches, the Bearcats swept the singles matches against Tarleton State, taking out the #22 ranked team in the nation, and the #3 team in South Central Region with ease on Friday.

SBU is back in action today when they take on Ouachita Baptist and Northeastern State in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
