Arkadelphia, Ark. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team opened up the spring portion of their season with a match-up against Ouachita Baptist. The Bearcats lost a close battle, 4-5 in Arkadelphia on Friday afternoon.

Domingos Carissimo started off on a good note for the Bearcats, claiming both a singles and doubles victory in the opening match of the 2012 season. Kristof Kinal and Daniel Cardona also added singles victories, but it wasn't quite enough for the Bearcats.

SBU will be back in action tomorrow, Saturday February 18, when they take on Delta State in Arkadelphia, Arkansas at 11:00 a.m.
