"It was a good win," head coach Jeff Guiot commented after the victory. "Fort Hays has been nationally ranked this year for part of the season and they are ranked tenth in the region. It is nice to get a sweep over them this year. We moved the ball well in the second half and we did a good job of getting the ball in the post. [Daveion] Zellner had 12 points and 12 boards tonight, and that is a good nights work. We had two kids with double-doubles and I don't know if we have had that in quite awhile. Jake [Littrel] also came in and played well in the second half and hit some big shots."
The Bearcats will be back in action on Tuesday, February 21 when they host Northwest Missouri on senior night. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. from the Meyer Sports Center in Bolivar.
