Mackynzi Gibson and
Whitney Miller had outstanding games against Missouri Southern, helping the Bearcats take down the Lions 3-1 on Saturday evening.
After SBU lost the first set 24-26, the Bearcats came back to take the next three sets 25-14, 25-15, and 25-17.
Whitney Miller and
Mackynzi Gibson both had career night for SBU with Miller giving SBU a career high 51 assists and Gibson giving SBU a career high 20 kills.
Jordan Nedbalek and
Carrie Johnson both added double digit kill nights with Nedbalek having 11 kills and Johnson 10. Defensively
Hannah Blount gave SBU 23 digs, Gibson had 15 digs, while
Kaitlyn Allison added 10.
The Bearcats will be back in action on Tuesday, November 6 when they play host to Northwest Missouri. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from the Meyer Sports Center in Bolivar.
