Springfield, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University basketball team dropped their contest against Drury University on Tuesday night 73-44.

The Bearcats held steady with the Panthers, leading 26-25 with 4:50 left in the first half before going into halftime down 34-31. Drury would use the second half to pull away, coming away with the 73-44 victory.

Kyle Sloan led the Bearcats in scoring with 13 points off of 5 of 12 shooting from the field. Jaywuan Hill added 10 points while Preston Guiot had six assists for the Bearcats.

SBU will hit the road on Saturday, November 17 when they travel to Rolla, Missouri for a match-up with Missouri S & T. Tip-off against the Miners is set for 7:00 p.m.
