Bolivar, Mo. - The Bearcats hit the road for their first road match-up of the 2012-13 season when they take on Drury University in the Highway 13 'Cat Fight on Tuesday night. SBU comes out of the SBU Classic Tournament with an 0-2 record and will look for their 3rd straight victory over Drury.

The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Jeff Guiot in his ninth season on the Bearcat bench, where he has won three MIAA regular season titles, and compiled a 157-85 (.649) record. Coach Guiot is the winningest coach in SBU history, has led the 'Cats to an MIAA Tournament appearance each season, and has three NCAA Tournament appearances.

Steve Hesser owns a 164-71 mark in his time at Drury, a .698 winning percentage that ranks among the top in the nation and in Drury's storied basketball history. His Panthers have won 20 or more games in six of his eight seasons and captured at least a share of four GLVC West titles in seven seasons as a league member.

Drury leads the all-time series against the Bearcats 28-22, with SBU winning the last two match-ups which have both occurred in Bolivar.

Scouting the Bearcats
Through the first weekend of play Preston Guiot leads the Bearcats in points scored (12.0 ppg) and assists (4.5 apg). Jaywuan Hill is also averaging double-digit scoring at 11.5 ppg and leads the team in rebounding at 6.5 rpg.

Scouting the Panthers
Drury is coming off of a 89-67 opening win against University of the Ozarks after finishing last season 17-11 and 10-8 in GLVC. The Panthers had five players scoring in double figures against University of the Ozarks with Cameron Adams leading the way with 18 points. Ian Carter posted Drury's only double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Alex Hall gave DU 15 points, Brandon Lockhart had 12, and Josh Buie had 10.
