Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell 3-1 in a tough loss against Missouri Western on senior day. Missouri Western took the first two sets 25-15 and 25-18 before the Bearcats came back to take the third set 25-22. In the final set the Bearcats where unable to hold off the Griffins dropping the fourth set 25-21.

Whitney Miller ends her outstanding career at SBU by moving into 8th place in the all-time record book for assists. Miller collected 28 assists and 3 kills in her final game as a Bearcat.
Carrie Johnson also provided an excellent appearance in her final game collecting 9 kills, one service ace, two blocks and 11 points. As a team, the Bearcats had more overall blocks in the matchup with 8, but were not able to overcome an early deficit.
The Bearcats finish up their 2012 season with a record of 10-23 and 2-16 in conference play.
