St. Charles, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team lost to Lindenwood University 3-0 on Tuesday evening in St. Charles. Lindenwood took the first set 25-18 and followed it up with a 25-19 and 25-23 victories.
Whitney Miller had an excellent day for the Bearcats, narrowly missing a triple double in the game. Miller led SBU in kills, assists, and digs on the evening. Miller gave SBU 8 kills, tied for the team lead with
Jordan Nedbalek, while
Carrie Johnson also had 7. Miller provided a team high 24 assists, while also recording a team high 10 digs, tied with
Hannah Blount for the team lead.
The Bearcats will return home on Saturday, November 3 when they take on Missouri Southern. The game is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. from the Meyer Sports Center in Bolivar.
