Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team dropped Saturday's contest against Fort Hays 3-1. Hays took the first two sets 25-14, 25-16 before SBU took the third set 19-25, followed by Hays closing out the game 25-22.
The Bearcats had two players in double figures in kills with
Jordan Nedbalek collecting 12 kills while
Jenna Isaacs added 11. Defensively, the Bearcats had three players in double figures in digs with
Kaitlyn Allison leading the way with 19 digs followed by Briana Goforth with 14 and
Whitney Miller with 10. Miller recorded another double-double on the season with 20 assists to go along with her 10 digs, while
Kelsey Fankhauser had 16 assists.
The Bearcats will hit the road for a three game roadtrip starting against Central Missouri on Friday, October 26. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Warrensburg, Missouri.
