Maryville, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's soccer team lost a tough defensive battle at Northwest Missouri on Friday afternoon, 1-0.
The Bearcats of Northwest Missouri put a goal in the net within the first 20 minutes, while both teams were held scoreless for the remainder of the game to give NWMSU a 1-0 victory. Northwest outshot SBU 13-7 while

Paige Hemphill had 4 saves.
The Bearcats will return to action on Sunday, October 21 when they travel to Missouri Western. The game is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. from St. Joseph, Missouri.
