Edmond, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team dropped Tuesday night's game in three sets to Central Oklahoma. The Bronchos took the first set 25-18, the second 25-13, and the final set 25-15.
Mackynzi Gibson had a solid game for the Bearcats, recording a team high 8 kills to go along with 7 digs, while hitting .364 on the evening.
Whitney Miller had a majority of the setting duties, collecting 15 assists while SBU played a wide range of players through the three sets.
The Bearcats will return to action on Friday, October 19 when they host Nebraska-Kearney and Alabama-Huntsville. The Nebraska-Kearney game is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. while the Alabama-Huntsville match is start at 7:00 p.m.
