Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team lost to Emporia State on Saturday afternoon 3-0. The Hornets took the three sets 25-20, 25-14, and 25-17.
Carrie Johnson once again led the SBU attack with 7 kills while
Nikki Madoch added 6 kills in the loss.
Whitney Miller led SBU with 16 assists while
Kaitlyn Allison had 13 digs for the Bearcats. As a team, SBU had 10.0 blocks compared to Emporia State's 6.0.
The Bearcats will return to action on Tuesday, October 16 when they travel to Edmond, Oklahoma to face Central Oklahoma. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
