Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team ran into a tough match-up against #4 Washburn on Friday evening in Bolivar. The Lady Blues of Washburn defeated SBU 3-0 on the evening.

Carrie Johnson led SBU with 6 kills, followed by Nikki Madoch and Jordan Nedbalek with 5 a piece. Kelsey Fankhauser had 16 assists while Kaitlyn Allison added 14 digs in the loss.

The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, October 13 when they host Emporia State. The game is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from the Meyer Sports Center in Bolivar.
