"When you go on the road you must guard well and rebound well," head coach Jeff Guiot stated after the victory. "We held them to 40 percent shooting on the game, and we attacked the basket really well. This was our best team defensive effort this season, and our defense really set the tone for us this afternoon. It was a good win for us, no question."

The Bearcats will look to extend their win streak to four games when they host Bible Baptist College on Tuesday, January 10. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. from the Meyer Sports Center in Bolivar.
