Bolivar, Mo. – SBU volleyball battled hard against Pittsburg State tonight dropping the match in five sets. The fifth set went down to the last few points, and SBU fought hard but was not able come away with a victory.
Leading the Bearcats was Sophomore
Britni Reed accumulating 20 kills with a .304 attack percentage and collected 30 digs in the five sits against Pittsburg State.
Jenna Isaacs and
Carrie Johnson both had double digit kills with 16 and 12 respectively.
Alyx Glover lead the Bearcats with 34 digs. Leading the Bearcats in assists was
Whitney Miller with 58.
The Bearcats are now 2-2 in the MIAA, and will be back in action in Rolla, Missouri on Wednesday, September 28, at 7:00pm against Missouri S&T.
