Maryville, Mo. - The SBU Bearcats soccer team had a tough matchup on Saturday afternoon against Northwest Missouri State. The Bearcats fared well in the contest, holding Northwest scoreless in the first, but ultimately lost the game 2-0.

As a team, the Bearcats tied a season high 17 shot attempts, and had a season high 10 shot attempts on goal. Megan Link collected 13 saves for the Bearcats in the goalie position, and Jade Barnden lead the SBU attack with six shot attempts, four on goal.

The Bearcats will end their six game road trip on Thursday, September 22 when they take on Oral Roberts.
