Central Missouri jumped out to an early 2-0 after the first inning, but SBU responded in the bottom half of the second with two of their own runs off of rbi's by Taylor Trotter and Dominic Bouvier. Central would break the tie in the top of the third, and add four more in the fifth before SBU bounced back in the bottom of the fifth. In game two Central Missouri got on the scoreboard first once again, leading 1-0 going into the bottom half of the first inning. However, SBU responded in a big way, going off on Central pitching, and scoring six runs in the bottom of the first. Jacob Estes and Brendon Cox both had rbi singles, putting SBU up 3-1. With the bases loaded and two outs, Tyler Christophel doubled to left field, clearing the bases and giving SBU a 6-1 lead. Central Missouri would score another run in the third, before Bouvier singled home Trotter in the bottom half of the inning. Central Missouri would begin to pick away at the SBU lead, eventually taking the lead in the fifth inning. Central Missouri would seal a 20-7 victory over the Bearcats to close out the double-header.
