                 Bolivar, Mo. - SBU lost a tough game to Nebraska-Omaha, 74-81, this afternoon in Bolivar.  SBU was lead in scoring by senior forward, 
Kurt Koenig.
Koenig scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the loss.  This is the second straight game in which Koenig was the Bearcats leading scorer.  Junior guard 
Ryan Dougherty had a great game, putting up 15 points and collecting four steals.  Sophomore forward 
Stephen Cotten grabbed 11 rebounds and scored seven points for the Bearcats down low.  "We executed pretty well and hit some shots," head coach Jeff Guiot commented after the loss.
As a team, SBU shot 42.2% from the field, 32.0% from beyond the arc, and a season high 92.3% from the stripe.  The Bearcats outrebounded the Mavericks 38-37, and SBU's bench outscored UNO's 30-13.
SBU will travel to Northwest Missouri State on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 to take on the Bearcats.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
