SBU Men Travel to Truman State Wednesday for a Match-up Against the Bulldogs

- The Bearcats will hit the road to face off against Truman State on Wednesday, December 7 as they look for their first conference win on the season. The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Jeff Guiot is in his eighth season on the Bearcat bench, where he has won three MIAA regular season titles, and compiled a 144-72 (.667) record. Coach Guiot has led the 'Cats to an MIAA Tournament appearance each season, and three NCAA Tournament appearances.

Matt Woodley became the 11th head coach in the program's history in 2011 and came to Truman following nine years of Division I coaching experience and two seasons at Waukee (Iowa) High School.

The Bearcats lead the all-time series against the Bulldogs 27-18.

Scouting the Bulldogs
Truman comes into the game against the Bearcats with an 3-6 record, and 1-1 in MIAA conference play. The Bulldogs are coming off of a 66-57 win against Pittsburg State.

In the MIAA, TSU ranks 7th in scoring offense, averaging 69.0 points per game and 8th in scoring defense, giving up 69.0 points per game.

Tom Norton is the leading scorer for the Bulldogs, averaging 13.1 points per game. The Bulldogs have three other players with double figure scoring averages: Mike Carlson (11.3), Seth Jackson (10.6), and EJ Hicks (10.0).
