Kansas City, Mo. - The Bearcat's competed in the first round of MIAA Tournament play against Missouri Southern State University dropping the match 1-0. SBU's defense played well holding Missouri Southern to just one goal on 19 shot attempts.
Paige Hemphill returned to goal for the Bearcats in the first round of the MIAA Tournament, and produced a shutout until the eighty seventh minute of the game. The Bearcats had two shot attempts against the Lions coming from
Ashley Creason and Caitlin Suerig.
The Bearcat's complete the season with a 4-12-2 record with wins over Missouri Southern State University, Fort Hays State University, Missouri Western, and Northwest Missouri State University.
Kelly Isaac lead the Bearcats this season with 6 of our 12 goals.
Megan Link accumulated 112 saves this year for the Bearcats before getting injured against Northwest Missouri States University. The Bearcats will be back in action next season.
