Bolivar, Mo. - The Bearcats are set to host the Drury Lady Panthers for SBU's home opener on Monday night after coming off of a 65-57 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State. The Coaches and the All-Time Series
SBU head coach Todd Voss is in his first season as the Bearcats head coach. Prior to coaching at SBU, Voss was an assistant coach at Division I Drake University where he helped lead his team to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances.
Steve Harold is in his fourth season at the helm of the Lady Panthers, where he has compiled a 75-21 record and a pair of GLVC titles. Under Harold, Drury reached the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2009.
This game marks just the fourth time these two teams have met, with SBU coming away with a 57-49 victory last year at Drury. However, Drury leads the all-time series 2-1.
Scouting the Panthers
The Panthers come into the game with a #25 national ranking, and a 0-1 record, dropping their opening game against D1 Oral Roberts, 80-53. Katie Prichard is the leading scorer for the Panthers with 15.0 points per game. The Panthers shot 35.2% from the field, and 26.1% from beyond the arc.
