Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU Volleyball team had a tough matchup against Emporia State on Tuesday night, coming up just short losing the contest 3-0. The Bearcats were able to rack up over 20 points for all three sets, but dropped the sets 25-21, 25-21, 25-21.
Carrie Johnson lead the Bearcats in kills with 10.
Caitlyn Muder and
Kristi Hager lead the Bearcats defensive effort with 18 and 15 digs respectively.
Whitney Miller and
Kelsey Fankhauser both saw playing time Tuesday night, with Fankhauser giving SBU 18 assists, and Miller 14. As a team, the Bearcats had 8.0 blocks, and were lead with 6 block assists by Johnson.
The Bearcats will hit the road for a three game road trip starting with Washburn University on Friday, November 4th at 7:00 p.m.
