Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU Bearcats clinched their second MIAA victory of the season as the Bearcats shut out the Griffons of Missouri Western 1-0 on Saturday morning in Bolivar. Goalkeeper Megan Link had her second shut out on the season as SBU sealed their second victory in the past four games.

The winning goal for the Bearcats was scored by Ashley Creason at the 62:06 mark when Creason hit a shot from five feet out into the top right of the goal. As a team, the Bearcats out shot the Griffons 24-7, and were lead in shot attempts by Kelly Isaac.

The Bearcats will back in action on Thursday, October 13th when they host Emporia State at 4:00 p.m.
