Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist Bearcats volleyball team played a tough match against #8 Central Missouri, but ended up falling 3-0 in the contest. The Bearcats were once again lead by
Britni Reed who continues her breakout season.
Reed lead the Bearcats in kills with 9, and in total points with 9.0.
Carrie Johnson also contributed 6 kills for SBU. Defensively,
Kristi Hager once again lead the Bearcats with 15 digs, in the libero position. As a team, SBU had a hitting percentage of .125 and collected 3.0 total team blocks.
The Bearcats will be back in action on Friday, October 28 when they travel to the Oklahoma Panhandle State Tournament with a pair of games on Friday evening. The Bearcats will play University of Texas-Permian Basin at 6:00 p.m. followed by an 8:00 p.m. match again Oklahoma Panhandle State.
