Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU Volleyball team picks up a conference win over Missouri Southern State University 3-1 in today's contest.  The Bearcats were lead by Britni Reed, and Jenna Isaacs offensively, and Kristi Hager defensively. 
 
The Bearcats took the second, third and fourth sets to come away with a 3-1 victory.  Britni Reed lead the Bearcats with 11 kills, followed closely by Jenna Isaacs with 10 kills.  The Bearcats compiled a .242 hitting percentage with 55 kills against Missouri Southern.  Whitney Miller lead the Bearcats in assists, with 24, and as a team they compiled 9 blocks.
 
With the victory, SBU moves to 3-5 in MIAA play this season.  The Bearcats will be back in action on Tuesday, October 18^th when they host Truman State University. The game is set to start at 7:00 p.m.
