Bolivar, Mo. – The Bearcats battled against the Lady Blues from Washburn today, with an ending result of 1-1 tie in double overtime.  SBU showcased an offensive attack with 28 shots with 11 shots on goal. 

SBU displayed a high powered offense lead by Kelly Isaac with 10 shot attempts and the lone goal for the Bearcats. Isaac's goal came with twelve minutes left in the first half off a penalty kick inside of the box. Ashley Creason also had a strong offensive game with 7 shots, and seven other Bearcats also had shots in the attack against Washburn.

Megan Link again proved herself strong defensively in the goal with 9 saves.  Two came late in the second overtime with the game on the line.

The Bearcats will be back in action on Thursday, October 6 when they host Missouri Southern at 4:00pm.
