Warrensburg, Mo. - The Bearcat women's basketball team lost to the Jennies of Central Missouri, 41-70 in Warrensburg. “We need to work on defense and taking more high percentage shots inside,” head coach J.C. Carter stated after the game.
Courtney Heady scored a team high 11 points, and Whitney Malone grabbed 6 rebounds and blocked 3 shots in the loss. The Bearcats were able to force 16 turnovers, and collected more blocks (5) and steals (9) than the Jennies.
The Bearcats return home on Tuesday, January 25th for a matchup against Lincoln. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at Meyer Sports Center.
