Warrensburg, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University Bearcats lost a tough matchup to the Central Missouri Mules in Warrensburg, 66-89.  The Bearcats were lead by a spectacular performance by Tre Smith, who scored a career high 18 points off of 6 of 12 shooting from the field.  “Tonight is something [Tre Smith] can build upon” said head coach Jeff Guiot.  Kurt Koenig and Stephen Cotten both contributed 10 points in the Bearcat loss.

Freshman Dalton Kelley continues to improve and see increased playing time, playing a season high 31 minutes in tonight's contest.  “Dalton stepping up and playing, and Tre getting those minutes is going to be good [for the future]” coach Guiot commented after the game.

The Bearcats are back in action Tuesday night against Lincoln, at Meyer Sports Center in Bolivar.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
