BOLIVAR/SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The SBU Bearcat tennis teams dropped both matches with Drury Tuesday, with the women falling 9-0 to the Panthers in Springfield and the men dropping a close 5-4 match in Bolivar.

After taking two of three men's doubles matches, the Bearcat men were only able to take singles matches at the top two spots. Marton Zsiga won a hard-fought third set super tiebreaker over Jesus San Roman Garcia Garcia, 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-4). Domingos Carissimo topped Roman Gonda 7-6, 6-3 at number two singles.

The Bearcats will get ready for the MIAA Championships in Kansas City this weekend. Both teams' seeds and match times are still to be determined for the event, which will be held at the Plaza Tennis Center on Saturday and Sunday.
