Bolivar, Mo. - SBU Head Men's Basketball Coach Clark Sheehy has announced the promotion of Liam Simmons to Associate Head Basketball Coach.

Coach Simmons has been instrumental in the development of the SBU Men's Basketball Program. In 2016-17, the Bearcats advanced to back to postseason play and had their first winning season in five years.

"We are excited about the promotion for Coach Simmons," Coach Sheehy stated. "He has done a really good job for us over the past three seasons and his leadership has been a extremely valuable part of program. We are thrilled for him and his family!"
