JOPLIN, Mo. --  Rain and lightning forced the suspension of Saturday's game one of a baseball doubleheader for the SBU Bearcats at Missouri Southern. The game was stopped in the top of the fifth inning with SBU batting with runners at first and second with no outs and the Lions leading 3-0.

The suspended game will resume tomorrow (Sunday) at noon, followed by a pair of seven-inning contests, weather permitting.
