Was a two-year starter in basketball at SWBC ... Named to All-Regional junior college team in 1963 ... All-Conference at University of Washington ... All-Pacific Coast team for two years ... All-American Helms team and Converse All-American team ... Drafted and signed by St. Louis Hawks ... Was head coach at Iowa State, Central Missouri State, Saint Mary’s (Calif.), Washington and SBU ... Served as assistant at Washington, Kentucky and LSU ... Made the NCAA Tournament all five years at CMSU and won the NCAA Division II National Championship in 1984 … Guided D-I St. Mary’s to NCAA appearance ... Was also an FBI agent three years and worked as an assistant executive director for the NCAA ... Later inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in 2006 … Also an author, who penned terrorism novel “Bridger: Deadly Peril”.
