Played football at SBU from 1983-86 under coach Garry Brandt … Made the NAIA All-District 16 honorable mention team in 1984 … Totaled 49 tackles, eight of which were for losses, and a team best six sacks … That team holds a school record for the fewest passing yards allowed per game with 121.9 yards per contest … Was a team captain his junior and senior years, gaining All-District first team both years and was a NAIA All-American honorable mention in 1986 …  Recorded 63 tackles (12 for losses), led the team with 11 sacks, and intercepted a pass in his junior year … Made 66 tackles (5 for loss) and still holds the school record with 15.5 sacks.
