Played softball for two seasons at SBU … In 1980, earned All-State honors, pitched five games at regionals, which were all won by SBU, and had a 0.21 ERA during post-season play … Recorded two 16-strikeout performances during the 1980 season … In 1981, was named to the All-Region and All-State teams with a 13-4 record with a 0.80 ERA (which included a 0.00 ERA and 9 strikeouts during the AIAW regionals) … Played for the two winningest teams in SBU softball history (34-11 in 1980 and 36-9 in 1981) under coach JoAnn Harrison … 1980 team won the regional championship and placed 5th at the AIAW National Championship … 1981 team placed 4th at regionals and received an at-large invitation to the AIAW National Championship.
